Tony grew up on his family farm south of Wakeman, Ohio. He went on to receive his B.Ed. from the University of Toledo, majoring in Secondary Education with a minor in Political Science and History. He received his Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1998.
Tony and his family reside in Amherst. Being interested in public service, he is a board member of the Amherst Community Improvement Corporation (CIC). He is also the City of Amherst Law Department's liaison to the CIC.
Upon passing the Ohio Bar, Tony practiced on his own in Amherst. Soon after, he worked as a magistrate in the Lorain County Domestic Relations Court. He joined the law firm in 2001. Anthony's practice areas include general litigation, public sector and family law.
Tony also devotes a significant portion of his time to the prosecution of claims against consumer reporting agencies and employers arising from the misreporting and misuse of criminal background reports. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Lorain County Bar Association, and the Lorain County Bar Association Legal Ethics & Grievance Committee, and a member of the Firm's task force on electronic discovery.
Tony has served as the elected Law Director for the City of Amherst, Ohio since 2007.
